A little about the person behind the sound
I’m a sound practitioner and musician based in Perthshire. For me, Bothy Sound is about bringing people together through a shared experience of music and sound.
I want to create a place where you feel welcome, can be yourself without judgement, and feel part of a community. Somewhere to relax, enjoy the moment and let go of some of what you’re carrying.
I hold a diploma in Integral Sound Healing from the Sound Healing Academy and a BA in Audio Engineering. My sessions bring together this training, my creativity and my love of sharing sound with others.
You’ll hear gongs, Himalayan bowls, drum, flute and voice, with soft, spacious moments and deeper, more immersive sounds. No previous experience is needed.

Sharing sound and bringing people together is at the heart of Bothy Sound. I’d love you to be part of it, whether that’s here in Crieff or joining from home.

No right way to do it
There’s time to arrive, choose your place and get comfortable. You don’t need to rush straight through the door and be ready to relax.
For most of the session, you’ll be lying down with your eyes closed while the sounds move around the room. There’s nothing you need to follow or achieve.
We finish gently, with a little time to come back before you head home. There’s no pressure to talk or share anything afterwards.
A little preparation
Coming to Crieff
Wear comfortable clothes and bring a blanket, water and anything else that helps you feel at ease.
Warm socks are a good idea. The room can feel cooler once you’ve been lying still for a while.
Your comfortable mattress and supportive bolster are included and will be laid out ready for you.

“I never take time for myself or to stop, so to have that time just to pause is proving to be something I feel I need more in life.”
Good to know
You lie down, get comfortable and listen as I play sound instruments. There’s nothing you need to do or get right. I’ll explain everything before we begin, so you’re welcome even if it’s your first time.
Wear comfortable clothes and bring a blanket to keep you warm. A thick, comfortable mattress and supportive bolster will be ready for you, included in your £20 session price. You’re welcome to bring an eye mask or anything else that helps you settle in.
If you drift off, don’t worry. Snoring can disturb others, so if you start to snore, I’ll gently squeeze your ankle to wake you. If you’d prefer not to be touched, please let me know before we begin so we can agree another way.
You might feel more relaxed, rested or simply glad to have taken some time for yourself. Everyone’s experience is different, and you don’t need to feel anything in particular. My aim is to offer a welcoming space to enjoy sound, share time together and allow you to settle in at your own pace.
