August is always a quieter month.
People are away. The sun is out (occasionally). Indoors feels less appealing.
This used to worry me.
I took it as a sign that I wasn't doing enough.
But this year, instead of pushing harder, I listened.
I adapted. I moved sessions outdoors. I rested the calendar. I stopped fighting the season and aligned with it instead.
And something beautiful happened:
the smaller sessions felt richer.
People shared more.
Space felt more generous.
I learned that low numbers don't mean low impact.
Seasons have cycles, and so does this work.
Bothy Sound grows when I don't force it.
I grow when I don't force myself.
Sometimes the quiet months are the ones that teach you the most.
